Sunnybrook Park (Free)
Location: 1132 Leslie St.
​
Sunnybrook Farm was the 154-hectare country estate of Joseph Kilgour in the late 1800s. It is located north of Leaside and south of the Bridle Path. After Kilgour's passing, his wife Alice donated Sunnybrook Farms to the city in 1928 to be used as a park. The Kilgour barns were preserved and currently serve as a public riding school. The Metropolitan Police stabled here until moving to the stables at Exhibition Place in 2005.

Bluffer’s Park (Free)
Location: 1 Brimley Rd D
Bluffer Park in Scarborough is a beautiful sandy beach and a breathtaking view of the water. It offers bike trails, picnic sites, swimming, and sites to take photos. Bluffer’s Park is a perfect Saturday trip to take with your family and see what Toronto has to offer.

Niagra Falls (Free)
Location: Between the USA and Canadian border
Niagara Falls consists of two waterfalls on the Niagara River, which marks the border between New York and Ontario, Canada: the American Falls, located on the American side of the border, and the Canadian or Horseshoe Falls located on the Canadian side. There are ferry rides, and it is a major source of hydroelectric power as well as being one of the most famous waterfalls in the world.

NOTE: Niagara Falls is a public location that can be accessed 24/7 all year but its surrounding services cost money.
Sugar Beach (Free)
Location: 11 Dockside Dr.

Sugar Beach is a beautiful candy-themed location. It's an urban beach, with pink umbrellas, and a perfect area to soak up some sun! Perfect for Sunday trips!
Rouge Beach (Free)
Location: Rouge Beach Park is located at the eastern border of Toronto at 195 Rouge Hills Drive, Toronto.

Rouge Beach is a beautiful sandy and swimmable beach. Great for barbecues and canoeing!

The Toronto Inukshuk Park (Free)

The Toronto Inukshuk Park is a legacy project for the world youth day in 2002. It is also a symbol for Canada's aboriginal people. The park holds a deep meaning and fresh scenery.
Graffiti Alley (Free)
Location: The Fashion District runs south of Queen Street West from Spadina Avenue to Portland Street beginning at 1 rush lane, Toronto.
Blue Mountain ($$$)

Blue Mountain is a ski resort that offers many services in the winter and the summer! In the winter you can snowboard, ski, go snowshoeing, and sledding. In the spring and summertime, you can bike, go on trails, golf, hiking, rock climbing, a cascade putting course, ridge runner mountain, and many more! It also has a village where you can go shopping, buy candy, and souvenirs! Blue Mountain also holds private events such as weddings. Blue Mountain offers one-of-a-kind scenery and experience! Big Apple ($)

Art Gallery of Ontario ($$)

With more than 90,000 works of art, this museum is one of the most distinguished art museums in North America. Paintings, sculptures, photography, this gallery has it all! There are also event spaces, gift shops, a theatre, a lecture hall and a workshop.

Nathan Philps Square in downtown Toronto offers a captivating setting! It has both summer, winter activities and views to offer! Algonquin Park ($$)

Algonquin Provincial Park is near the Georgian Bay and the Ottawa River in Ontario. Algonquin Park has 1,000 vascular plants and is home to many wildlife such as Moses and deers. Live science shows and demonstrations, hands-on exhibits, a rainforest, and a giant 3D dome theatre, the Ontario Science Centre has it all! Opened in 1969, this center is one of the first-ever interactive science and technology museums in the world. It aims to inspire passion for the adventure of discovery and spark children and youth innovation. There are over 500 exhibits to visit so if you are a new visitor to Toronto, this should be on your list of places to visit.

Toronto Zoo ($$)

With a mission to connect people, animals and use conservation science to fight extinction, the Toronto Zoo is the largest in Canada, with over 5,000 animals and encompassing over 287 hectares. From the Kids Zoo to a waterpark, you can spend an entire day at the zoo and still have exhibits unvisited!

There are approx. 1.3 million visitors per year and the Zoo is divided into seven zoogeographic regions: Africa (Rainforest and Savanna), Americas, Australasia, Canadian Domain, Eurasia Wilds, Indo-Malaya, and Tundra Tre. The Zoo has four main pavilions (African Rainforest, Americas, Australasia, and IndoMalaya) and several other indoor exhibits, plus greenhouses and administration and service buildings behind-the-scenes. Food services include two restaurants and four snack bars (open seasonally). There are also over 10 km (6 miles) of walking trails and a Zoomobile runs seasonally.

Casa Loma is a historic site built in 1914 by financier Sir Henry Pellatt, and a prime example of Toronto’s commitment to its history; it is also known as the treasured heritage landmark. Casa Loma offers a variety of services such as wedding/ social events, refined dining, exhibits, gallery, as well a beautiful estate backdrop. It also provides a gift shop for its visitors to collect memorial items to remember their experience! Casa Loma provides one of a kind experience to its visitors and takes you back into the past!

VAVA Toronto ($$)

Aiming to bring the best claw machine experience to Toronto, VAVA Toronto has a variety of machines to play; from the basic claw machines to “cut the string” types. This place makes the perfect setting for “VSCO” pictures as hot pink fills the store and you can win plushies to Fendi lipsticks. Another thing to note is that they never restock on toys so what you see is what you get!
Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada ($$$)

Fish, sharks, manta rays and jellyfish... Ripley's got it all! There are over 2000 aquatic animals to explore and you can even pet various animals like sharks and sting-rays with the help of aquarium employees. The aquarium features North America's longest underwater viewing tunnel with more than 5.7 million litres of water and over 100 interactive opportunities. It is located in downtown Toronto, just southeast of the CN Tower.

Aga Khan Museum ($$$)

The Aga Khan Museum displays Islamic and Iranian art, as well as the Muslim culture. It is the first Muslim museum in Canada! It has a beautiful interior, open space concept, and is surrounded by glass walls. This museum is a captivating setting and is amazing for photography.
